When praying about which stories to choose for our first run this story stood out. A childhood classic showcasing the need for obedience and the power of our God.

Jonah 1:7 "then the crews cast lots to see which of them had offended the gods and caused the terrible storm. When they did this, the lots identified Jonah as the culprit" 

if I had one verse to showcase the power in obedience to our God i choose this one. Also the use of casting lots all over the bible, even as prophesied for the death of Jesus!
